Infinix is set to launch a new smartphone in the Indian market that is part of the Smart 8 series. It looks like the base Infinix Smart 8 handset will soon make its debut in the region, given the company has just begun selling the Smart 8 HD model.
India Launch of Infinix Smart 8
The smartphone maker intends to introduce the Smart 8 in India soon. It is expected that this device will be released in January 2023. Thus, we should anticipate hearing the official launch date from the Chinese brand soon. For those who don’t know, the Smart 8 was first introduced in Nigeria. It is now anticipated that Infinix would launch the smartphone in a limited edition model with a wood-textured rear panel.
Recall that the Infinix Smart 8 has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with 180Hz touch sampling rate, 500 nits of peak brightness, 90Hz refresh rate, and HD+ resolution. Under the hood lies the UNISOC T606 processor, along with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A microSD card slot and virtual RAM extension capability allow users to increase storage and RAM even further.
The Infinix Smart 8 has a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 13-megapixel dual camera configuration on the rear. The device has face unlock capabilities, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the Android 13 Go Edition operating system pre-installed.
