The Redmi sub-brand of Xiaomi is getting ready to release the TWS earphones and a new smartphone in India. While the latter will be revealed on February 12, the former is scheduled to debut on February 14. Redmi has officially verified the Redmi Buds 5’s primary specifications ahead of the device’s formal launch next week. A microsite for the future product has been posted by Xiaomi.
September of last year marked the launch of the Redmi Buds 5 in China. Additionally, last month, it was announced on international markets. The specifications for the Indian version are expected to be the same. It’s also confirmed that Amazon offers the TWS earphones for sale.
According to the Redmi Buds 5’s microsite on Amazon and Xiaomi’s official website, they are in-ear headphones featuring a silicon ear tip and stem. Both light blue and black color options will be available for them. It has been established that the 12.4mm titanium drivers of the TWS earphones produce a robust bass and sound. The forthcoming model will have a hybrid ANC mode that reduces ambient noise by 46dB. They are hinted to be equipped with a dual-mic AI voice augmentation system for incredibly clear phone calls.
Two devices can be connected to the Redmi Buds 5 at once. With the squarish-shaped case, it is said to deliver up to 38 hours of battery life.
