Since the start of the year, there have been numerous smartphone releases. Even as the month draws to a close, the release of new phones doesn’t seem to slow down. Only one company, though, has promised to release phone announcements in the coming days. For international markets, OnePlus will introduce both a flagship and a flagship killer.

In China, these two phones are already official. For global markets, they will be revealed on the same day, January 23. India’s New Delhi will play host to the conference. Start time for the event is 7:30 PM IST. On YouTube, it will be streamed live.

OnePlus 12

The brand’s most recent flagship smartphone is the OnePlus 12. On January 23, it will be released for the markets outside of China’s mainland. We are fully aware of the product because it is available for purchase in China. Similar to other high-end Android phones from 2024, its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC powers it.

The phone has a 6.82-inch curved OLED display with 120Hz LTPO and QHD+ resolution. It has a 32MP selfie camera in addition to a triple back camera system of 50MP (wide), 48MP (ultrawide), and 64MP (3x periscope). The 5,400mAh battery powers the IP65-rated gadget. Lastly, it supports 50W wireless and 100W wired charging standards.

OnePlus 12R

The OnePlus 12R is the latest flagship killer smartphone from the brand. On January 23, it will be unveiled alongside the OnePlus 12 for international markets.

The gadget is a OnePlus Ace 3 that has been rebranded and just became official in China. So, all the information on this product is previously known. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip powers the device. It has a 6.78-inch 1.5K resolution LTPO curved OLED display operating at 120Hz.

It comes with a 16MP selfie camera as well as a triple camera arrangement on the back that consists of 50MP (wide), 8MP (ultrawide), and 2MP (macro). Finally, it supports 100W wired charging and has a 5,500mAh battery.
