Who was Simon Dunn?

Simon Dunn, who was born in 1987 in New South Wales, spent his early years playing rugby and being a member of the Sydney Convicts Gay team in Wollongong. After a long absence, he returned to bobsledding in the winter Olympics of 2021. He was the first person to play bobsleigh as a gay man who openly acknowledged his s*xu@lity. He then returned to Australia while recovering from a torn bicep injury he sustained in 2021.

When describing Simon, Ruby Rose Management noted that he was a person who was passionate about his community and who dedicated his life and time to it. They stated that he was contributing his time, as well as his personality and profile, to the neighbourhood.

The agency or management under which Simon worked, Ruby Rose Management, posted a statement online announcing Simon’s passing.
