According to the authorities, a box truck was on Route 44 when a 2021 Lexus NX300 was driven by Glen Ragin Jr., 23, of Torrington, Connecticut, and Emanuel Caban, 18, of Waterbury, Connecticut, passed it. During this process, Ragin veered into the westbound lane and collided with O’Leary’s 2022 Chevy Equinox.
