Heather Pulfer posted on Facebook on February 7th that John Harkins had passed away, and she did it with a great deal of sadness. John Harkins, a citizen of London, Ontario, and a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, is fondly recalled for his career as an insurance broker as well as his infamous and eccentric golf course wardrobe.

Who was John Harkins?
John was a longstanding resident of London, Ontario, and was born in Sarnia. According to reports, he went to Western Ontario University and the Northern Collegiate Institute & Vocational School. He was employed with Selectpath Benefits & Financial Inc., a provider of employee benefits and financial services.
John was a committed learner who completed his schooling at The University of Western Ontario as well as Northern Collegiate Institute & Vocational School. Following his graduation from college, John started working for Selectpath Benefits & Financial Inc., where he remained until his death on February 6, 2023.
John Harkins Death Reason
John’s family or any other source have not yet disclosed the reason for his passing. He reportedly passed away unexpectedly on February 6 in his London, Ontario, residence.
Many people are grieving John’s untimely death in London, Ontario and elsewhere. He was a well-educated man who had built a successful career at Selectpath Benefits & Financial Inc. providing employee benefits and financial assistance to those in need. Even though the exact cause of his death is still unknown, people who knew him will always remember him and the influence he had on their lives.
