Who was Trace Woxberg?
The victim of this unfortunate incident was Trace Woxberg. Although nothing is known about him, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has indicated that he and the woman who died were dating and shared the house where the incident occurred.
Police were greeted by a man in his 20s who begged them not to shoot his dog when they arrived at the house on Kaiser Avenue close to Quail Roost Road. The officers heard a gunshot as they round the corner of the house and immediately saw Woxberg with gunshot wounds and the lifeless body of the woman sitting next to him. The woman was declared dead at the site, while Woxberg was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
