There won’t be a “Pro” version of the Google Pixel Tablet, according to a leak

With the Pixel Tablet, Google is anticipated to make a triumphant return to the tablet market this year. According to early reports, the tablet would come in both standard and Pro versions. Kuba Wojciechowski, an Android researcher and well-known tipper, revealed that there will only be one tablet version and that the Pro version has been scrapped.

At first, it was anticipated that Google would introduce the standard model, which would include both the Tensor G2 and the first-generation Tensor chips. The code names “Tangor” and “Tangorpro” were rumoured to be assigned to these. However, there may only be one Tensor G2-powered version available going forward, and it won’t bear the Pro label. This indicates that the standard version, which utilised the first-generation Tensor processor, was abandoned at some point during the development process. Follow For More Updates at satiknews.com

Google itself has made this situation worse. Google specifically states that the Tensor G2 processor will power the Pixel Tablet in a post on its official blog. Additionally, they continue to refer to the tablet as a single device rather than a group of devices. This strengthens Wojciechowski’s assertions. It should be noted that the Tensor G2 processor powers the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones, which are part of the current generation of Google Pixel smartphones.

Specifications for the Google Pixel Tablet

Wojciechowski disclosed some of the device’s specifications a short while ago. He mentioned the possibility of an 11-inch display and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity on the gadget. Additionally, he mentioned that the device might come in 128GB and 256GB storage options. Google speculates that the Pixel Tablet may be a hybrid device in the blog post cited above. combining conventional tablets with intelligent displays like the Amazon Echo Show line.

The device will include a Charging Speaker Dock that serves as both an external speaker and a charging station. Users will have hands-free access to Google Assistant through this, and it will also serve as a base from which they can conveniently watch movies or display photos. Google hopes that by doing this, the tablet will instead become a permanent fixture in a user’s home rather than being stored away in a drawer when not in use.
