Robert Crimo: Who is He? The 22-year-old rapper who is accountable Parade Massacre on July 4

Robert Crimo, a suspect in the Monday shooting that left six people dead and more than 36 others hurt during a Fourth of July celebration in the Highland Park area of Chicago, was detained. US law enforcement officials announced on Tuesday. The ages of those hurt ranged from 8 to 85. The shooting, according to police, took place from a company’s rooftop. Which the suspect ascended via a flimsy ladder linked to the building in an unsafe lane. The reason for the shooting is still under investigation by the authorities.

Who is Robert Crimo?

According to Reuters, the suspect, 22-year-old Robert E-Crime III. Also known as “Bobbie,” was apprehended while operating a 2010 silver Honda Fit with an Illinois license.

There has also been the discovery of an online profile that resembles the suspect, a thin-faced bearded man with neck and facial tattoos. Crimo is rumored to have performed and released several independently produced rap songs under the alias “Awake the Rapper.”

The debut single by “Awake the Rapper” was allegedly released in 2016. However, he started using this alias on numerous social networking platforms as early as 2011. In 2020, he released a song titled “…In my Honda,” which is currently being linked to the fact that he was pulled over while operating a silver Honda.

Several reports claim that Crimo is also the son of a defeated 2019 mayoral candidate.

As a result of “violations of the platform’s guidelines,” Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube have removed Robert Crimo III’s social media accounts.

“People were getting ready to march down the street and then all the sudden waves of these people started running after, like running towards us. And right before that happened, we heard the pop, pop, pop, pop, pop. I thought it was fireworks,” Emily Prazak, who marched in the parade, told AFP.

A 22-year-old man went on a shooting rampage in Chicago, Illinois. When people were celebrating the Fourth of July, the nation’s Independence Day. Shooting repeatedly from a rooftop, he murdered six people and injured 24 others while using a “high-powered” rifle.
