The Redmi 11 Prime 5G, a recently released 5G smartphone from major smartphone company Xiaomi, has had its price reduced by Rs 1,000 in India as 5G services become more prevalent there. As a low-cost 5G smartphone, the device was released in India in September with the Redmi 11 Prime and Redmi A1.

Redmi 11 Prime 5G cost and availability in India
On Amazon and Mi.com, the Redmi 11 Prime 5G costs Rs 12,999 and Rs 14,999, respectively, for the 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants. This comes after the Redmi 11 Prime 5G’s pricing was reduced by Rs 1,000 from its previous retail price of Rs 13,999 and Rs 15,999. Users of ICICI credit and debit cards can also get an extra Rs 1,000 off of smartphones purchased through Amazon.

Redmi 11 Prime 5G specs
The smartphone’s display is a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ LCD panel with Corning Gorilla Glass and a 90Hz refresh rate. In addition to an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls, it has a dual 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth camera on the back.
The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, together with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that is expandable to 1TB via microSD card compatibility, power the Redmi Prime 11 5G. It comes pre-installed with the MIUI 13 skin running on Android 12. The smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at an 18W rate. The phone does come with a 22.5W charger, though.
