Despite having been in the smartphone manufacturing business for a while, Meizu isn’t as well-known as other Chinese companies (Xiaomi, OPPO, to name a few). Additionally, it has been a while since we have seen a Meizu flagship—the most recent was unveiled in 2019. That will soon change as the business prepares to release the Meizu 20 smartphone. A recent image leak hints that there might also be a Pro model. Follow For More Updates at satiknews.com
On Weibo, a tipster posted a hands-on photo of the purported Meizu 20 Pro. The smartphone has a curved back and an intriguing camera module, as seen in the image. At least three camera sensors are present, along with a mystery black bar. We cannot help but note that the camera setup resembles an emoticon for displeasure.
The Meizu 20 Pro is said to have a 1-inch, 50MP Sony sensor, according to the writing on the camera island. Most likely, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Xiaomi 12 Pro’s Sony IMX989 sensor is the one in use here. The black bar on the module’s purpose is unclear to us. It could contain a sensor or simply be present for aesthetic purposes.
At the moment, information about the Meizu 20 line of smartphones is relatively limited. When the vanilla model’s patent photos first appeared online, they showed a Galaxy S23-like design with an extra ring on the back. The Meizu 20 will also have the most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, according to a Geekbench listing. The same chipset can also be present in the Pro model.
