The newest 24-inch iMac model appears to be delayed, so iMac enthusiasts will have to wait a while. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that the corporation doesn’t expect to release the device until at least 2023. Whether Apple is developing a bigger-screen iMac model or not is still a mystery. Plans for the company are unknown, and there are conflicting rumours in this area. It was previously stated that Apple was developing a 24-inch M1 iMac successor, possibly using the M3 chip, as the next generation of the iMac. Currently, it’s unclear if the new Mac will be branded as the Mac Pro or if it will be included in the existing iMac lineup.
The M3 chip is anticipated to be produced utilising TSMC’s most recent 3nm process, offering increased efficiency and performance. Future iterations of the 13-inch MacBook Pro and Mac mini could also employ it, as well as the speculated MacBook Air.
