Who was Kyle Weloth?

Kyle, a Roy, Utah native, was born on November 4, 1992, to parents David Weloth and Delanie Rigsby. He had a strong interest in athletics since an early age, excelling at soccer, tee-ball, little league baseball, and football. This passion for sports persisted into his high school years at Roy High, where he lettered in football, baseball, and swimming.

Kyle relocated to St. George after graduating high school to attend Dixie State University. It was here that he discovered his interest for golf course maintenance, which he would later pursue professionally.

Kyle Weloth Cause of Death

Kyle started his career in golf course maintenance at Coral Canyon Golf Course before going to Entrada Country Club. His devotion and hard work earned him prominent internships at Medinah Country Club in Chicago, The Club at Cordillera near Vail, Colorado, and Pine Valley Golf Club in New Jersey.

Kyle began working as an Assistant Superintendent for the Desert Highlands Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, after graduating from the Penn State Turfgrass Management Program in 2021. His time at Desert Highlands included a remarkable interaction with PGA legend Jack Nicklaus, which exemplified his professional successes.

Kyle unfortunately died in a fatal accident on January 4, 2024. The facts of the collision are unknown, but it has been established that he died as a result of his injuries.
