In the late 1980s, Buck left the PTL ministry after refusing to pay church secretary Jessica Hahn hush money for alleged rape. Accounting fraud was later exposed, which resulted in felony charges, convictions, jail, and divorce. In 1960, Buck was a student at North Central University, a Bible school affiliated with the Assemblies of God that is situated in Minneapolis, when he first met Tammy Faye LaValley. On April 1st, 1961, Bakkers wed and left college to work as a traveling minister. Their two children are Jamie Charles “Jay” Bakker and Tammy Sue “Sissy” Bakker Chapman, both born on March 2, 1970. (born December 18, 1975). On March 13, 1992, the divorce was legally finalized. On September 4, 1998, Buck married former televangelist Lori Beth Graham, 50 days after their first encounter. In 2002, they adopted five kids.
