In Ti West’s slashers X and Pearl, Mia Goth (please-I’m-a-) featured as Maxine and Pearl. A background actress on MaXXXine is suing Goth for violence. An extra on the A24 follow-up has filed a lawsuit, according to TMZ and Variety, alleging that Goth “intentionally” kicked him in the head while they were filming last April.

James Hunter was hired, per the lawsuit, to portray a “Dead Parishioner” for three days. He was meant to lie on the ground smeared in fake blood, “enduring ants and mosquitoes,” as Goth ran past and occasionally over him. During one take, Goth allegedly almost walked on him, so he complained to an assistant director, who passed the worries on to Goth.

Hunter claims that Goth deliberately kicked him in the head with her boot during the subsequent take. He further claims that she “taunted, mocked and belittled” him in the restroom afterwards, defying him to confront her about it. He says that when driving home, he had dizziness and had to stop over twice.

Afterwards, he was informed by physicians that he had sustained a concussion. Hunter is suing A24, Goth, and West for wrongful termination. According to the lawsuit, Hunter was informed he had been fired from the production the day following the alleged kicking incident. Hunter is also requesting at least $500,000 in damages. Vulture’s request for comment was not immediately answered by Goth’s representatives.

On Friday, a supporting actor filed a lawsuit against Mia Goth, claiming that she had deliberately struck him in the head during a scene in April.

James Hunter says that when filming the A24 sequel “MaXXXine,” Goth kicked him, causing a concussion. The movie is the third in a trilogy of horror flicks helmed by Ti West and starring Goth, which also includes the 2022 releases of “X” and “Pearl.”

The suit claims that Goth purposefully gave him a boot to the head on the following take. Following the conclusion of the play, Hunter claims that Goth entered the toilet while he was there, “taunted, mocked, and belittled” him, and dared him to take action. Hunter experienced headache pain. According to the suit, the artificial blood had also dried onto his robe and hurt him when he removed it.
