We heard about Apple’s intentions to release a new HomePod next year from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman back in June. Again, Gurman is to credit for these new developments as he now hints at other smart home gadgets. Here are some specifics.
Expected New Apple Smart Home Devices
Apple is preparing both a new HomePod and a HomePod mini model, according to Gurman’s most recent Power On newsletter. However, the regular HomePod has a higher chance of being released, perhaps in 2023.

The S8 processor, code-named “B620,” is anticipated to power the new HomePod and the forthcoming Watch Series 8. While the appearance and audio quality will resemble the HomePod, which has since been discontinued, there may be upgrades in the display area (multi-touch capabilities are anticipated), in addition to further feature updates.
We may anticipate some performance gains from the rumored HomePod mini, but nothing is certain at this time.
Gurman also thinks Apple may introduce two new smart home products. One might be a kitchen device that allegedly combines an iPad and a speaker, raising the possibility of a smart display to compete with Google’s Nest displays and Amazon’s Echo gadgets. The other is designed for the living room and has a HomePod, camera, and Apple TV features. However, it will be interesting to watch how this plays out.
One of these two is expected to launch either early in 2024 or next year. There is a possibility that not all of the aforementioned goods will be released. We will have to wait for additional information because the facts aren’t clear-cut, so we can understand Apple’s intentions better. When this occurs, we’ll make sure to let you know. So, be sure to check back and let us know what you think of the new Apple smart home products in the comments section.
