Hallo Welt Systeme now sells the Volla Phone X23, the most recent version of the Volla Phone project. Like its predecessors, the Volla Phone X23 runs an open-source operating system and is Google-free. The device’s default operating system at launch will either be Volla OS or Ubuntu Touch.

The MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, which has previously earned positive reviews in products like the Moto G72 and POCO M5, powers the Volla Phone X23’s internals. The X23 has 64 GB of extendable storage and 4 GB of RAM. The phone is adequately powered by a sizable 5,000 mAh battery that supports both 30 W wired and 15 W wireless charging. Moreover, the gadget has a 6.1-inch “U-Notch” display with a 1,560 x 720 pixel resolution. With a 48 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 16 MP front-facing camera, the X23 sports two cameras. With such a camera configuration, the Volla Phone X23 is anticipated to provide clear images and movies. The gadget is 270 g in weight and is 160.9 x 80 x 12.2 mm.

Today, the Volla Phone X23 costs €522 (about $552) in Europe and comes pre-loaded with either Ubuntu Touch or Volla OS. With the coupon code “VOLLAX23,” Hallo Welt Systeme is giving the product, however, a 10% discount through March 19. With this reduction, the launch price drops to €478.13 (about $508).

The item will be delivered to pre-order customers in May. Although it looks that Hallo Welt Systeme is only offering the product for sale in Europe at the present, the company’s FAQ says that clients outside of Europe may ultimately be able to purchase it on Indiegogo.
